Although VW is aware of this a claims to have a fix for it, every monsoon season I am left with a ridiculously humid car along with a significant amount of water on the floor of the left passenger side of the vehicle. I can only imagine what long term damage this may cause but short term annoyances are the reeking smell of stale water in my car along with the humidity. I have to vacuum what I can out of the vehicle and leave the moon roof cracked just to get the floor to dry over about a week. As I have said before, this car is a lemon and this is one of many problems I have faced multiple times since owning the vehicle.

Typical poor design and half-assed customer care. The ends of the sunroof drain holes are too tight and rainwater builds up and then leaks onto the headliner and stains it. The water then drips down and pools on the carpet and floods the Transmission Control Module that is stored under the carpet!
German engineering? It is almost like they planned a Fukushima-like series of mini disasters to wipe out as many things as they could in one simple weather event. My car is within the effected years, but my VIN is not part of the recall. VW uses any and all excuses. They laugh at their customers.
