VW wants $900 to replace this flange. i am not familiar with engine mechanics so i can't really tell you exactly what flange this is. the car wouldn't get over around 35 while it was cracked though. luckily i was close to the mechanic shop when this happened.

Just another expense on a long list of them for this car!!!
