problem #3

Passat 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 167,000 miles

I took car into dealership to have the problem fixed. However $1500 later, I still had original problem. They fixed three things and changed spark plugs. I sent them email's regarding my service experience & frustration and have not heard a word back.I even sent the owner of dealership a message via Facebook. Haven't heard a thing. After much studying myself, it appears my engine coil/s may be failing. Was wondering if there is a recall on these parts?

Passat Turbo 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,000 miles

They will not warranty because they say its because of neglect. They say the oil was not changed right and the engine has engine sludge. I just bought the car 1-29-2009 and had inspection. Took the car in for another problem and engine noise and now have to pay for an engine or they say go back to where I bought it from. The person I bought it from says they bought it from VW leasing. Had many other problems - dome light not working two times, air bag light, wiper fluid not coming out, broken shifter trim, broken cup holder, broken ash tray, 19 codes in systems, ect.
