2006 Volkswagen Passat. Consumer writes in regards to safety recall. The consumer stated there was no authorized dealer on the island of Hawaii. The manufacturer was notified and did not have a solution. The consumer stated the vehicle could be shipped to another portion of the island, but it would be expensive. The manufacturer refused to pay for the vehicle's transportation.
