My car is recently bought. I was happy with it but it started to have engine problems and stop working in the middle of the road.

Passat Komfort 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission

This is not the first time this has occurred. I continuously (more than 7 times now) have had issues with misfiring. EPC light comes on. Car stalls ANYWHERE! Middle of an intersection has happened twice. When I drop it off at the dealership - they'll say "oh yeah this is a problem with these cars" but yet there are no recalls and I continue to pay. Is there a recall? It's a 2010 VW Passat.

Volkswagen gives 5 years warranty. But engine stalling on highway is REALLY DANGEROUS and after car limp home. The dealer had the gall to tell us to wait for 10 days to send in car for repair. Manage to get VW road side tow truck and dealer fix problem in 3 days instead of 10days.VW quality lousy and really sucks
