Passat LS 2.0L Tdi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,060 miles

I'm a Disabled women with severe arthritis and the weather is in the 30's in NJ. I should mention its also the holiday season. Because I can not get the inside warm enough or defrost on passenger side working I'm forced to not use the car. It sits inside my garage while I'm feeling angry about making payments! I'm retired so I can't afford to just replace or trade in.

Passat SEL Tdi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

The heating core should not malfunction when it is less than three years old. But for the mileage, this repair would have been covered under the 3/36 warranty. Heat came out driverside, but no heat came out of passenger side, which also affected the defrosting system on the passenger side.

Passat SE Tdi 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

I have never wrote or complained on a vehicle before. I owed a 2006 Jetta TDI, 220,000 miles with no issues, just normal issues. Bought a 2013 Passat TDI, who wouldn't after a great experience. So it just went out of warranty, 40,000 miles, not even three years old and passengers gets cold air with heater and/or defrost on.

Sounds like a normal issue when looking for solutions, please advise. I would love to stay a loyal customer and tell others how great your cars are realizing that a car this new with this little mileage has no reason to have this work required.
