Passat SE 2.0L Tdi

Rear view Mirror keeps coming off alignment. Took it to the dealer, they said they will replace it, which they did, but I am not sure if they have replaced the whole assembly or just the cover. Mfg. Warranty is about to expire soon and issue is still present. I am taking it to the dealer back soon.
