October 17th, 2018 I was driving the vehicle more than usual and when I went to shift from parked to reverse the car stalled without warning. When attempting to restart the vehicle it would not start. I had to let the car sit for 15 minutes before it would start again. On October 18, 2018 dropped the vehicle at VW dealership.
I got a call from the Service advisor stating that the technician could not duplicate the problem and the vehicle was not showing any fault codes. They did, however, state that it could be the throttle body needing to be cleaned and needing updating. At my expense I had the repairs done. They removed the throttle body and cleaned the unit, and performed software update and reset basic settings. I picked up the vehicle on October 19, 2018 and vehicle was operating correctly until about 2 months later when the vehicle stalled out again multiple times.

The vehicle stalled out when it was put into drive. Oil pressure light was present upon stalling. I was able to start the vehicle without stalling after the 3rd attempt. February 28th, 2019 I dropped the vehicle off at VW dealership. I was contacted by the Service advisor and notified that no faults were found in the ECM, but the technician did find the low pressure sensor leaking oil. Repairs were done at my expense to replace sensor. I attempted to pick vehicle up on March 01, 2019. After paying for repairs I went to start vehicle and it would not start. Technician came out to look at vehicle and tested the battery. The battery test failed.
Battery was removed and replaced at no charge due to still be under warranty. After battery was replaced, the vehicle was able to start and was operating correctly until June 2019 when the vehicle stalled out in the middle of the road. This vehicle has now become unsafe to drive and the VW dealership is of no help. They just keep charging me to fix things that are not the issue and telling me there is nothing they can do if they cannot duplicate the issue.

While driving on the road the vehicle stalled out in the middle of the road without warning. Car was going about 15mph at the time. Attempted to restart the vehicle and it would not start. Car had to be pushed off the road. I was unable to get the car to start till hours later. On June 21, 2019 the vehicle was dropped off at the VW dealership. I got a call from the Service advisor stating that the technician could not duplicate the problem but the technician did say that he found that both power relays were having communication errors between the ECM and the fuel pump. I was told that this could be the issue. At my expense I had the repairs done. They removed and replaced both power relays.
I picked up the vehicle on June 25, 2019. I drove the vehicle home from the VW dealership which is about 15 miles, and the vehicle was performing properly. About 10 minutes later I attempted to start the vehicle again and it would not start. I tried to start it a 2nd time and it was able to start, but then immediately stalled.
On June 25, 2019, I contacted the VW dealership and explained what had happened and was told by the Service advisor that, since they can not duplicate the problem, there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak with someone who could help me and he said that I could speak with the director, but he was with a customer so he would call me back. Later that day my husband called and spoke with the Service advisor who told him that he spoke with the director and they would like us to bring in the vehicle on Monday July 1, 2019 and the dealership will keep it for a few days and have the technicians drive the vehicle to see if they can duplicate the issue.
I am so upset and scared over this issue. They seem to have no care in the world for the safety of the consumers that purchase their vehicles. It's awful to keep hearing the service advisor continually keep tell me time and time again that there is nothing they can do if they can not duplicate the issue and just sends me on my way with unsafe vehicle.
