176,000 miles. I've been drive and losing oil. Came to a mechanic and they replaced the pcv valve hub for $450. 1000 miles later, it needed to add an additional 2 quarts of oil 5w40 - and now I'm decided to use 10w-30/10w-40 oil engine in my car. Have not been able to have it fixed correctly yet because it's too expensive.

Around August of 2021 the car was consuming a quart of oil about every thousand miles. Now about a year later it is consuming a quart every 500 miles or less. I've driven the car from new and has mostly highway miles on it. The car is only 6 years old with now 215,000 miles on it. Everything else on the vehicle works great. Isn't there something Volkswagen can do about this to help the situation? Thanks.
