While driving the Passat at highway speeds, when the car’s suspension started to dismantle itself. The car’s shock absorber jettisoned off the vehicle, the spring came out of the lower spring perch on the lower control arm and the rotor ring cracked off of its hub. (See enclosed pictures) With that the car was rendered uncontrollable and spun out of control, hitting the highway divider; a concrete wall on the right side of the vehicle. The car then ricocheted back into the oncoming traffic and finally coming to a stop sitting perpendicular across two lanes of traffic.
