Takata recall, the air bag light appeared on the dashboard. I brought my vehicle to a local Volkswagen dealer to check it and I was the air bag defected on the passenger side; and I was told that the air bag was not on the recall. I wonder why Volkswagen Rabbit 2007 was not on the recall? my vehicle just had 68047 miles. I look forward to getting info asap. Thanks

Takata recall. Rabbit is unlisted but contains exact equipment as other models. Does this pertain to the vehicle? also. Weight of engine impact struts then to the suspension lineages, arms, etc...thus, affecting the weight of the vehicles from this five-cylinder engine to cause bushings to fail. The equipment was designer original for the four-cylinder models even with turbocharger. The composites of the bushings have sustained a quality degradation to the point of poor synthetics.

Passenger air bag light comes on continuously after seat is moved to allow passengers in the back seat. The light came on and stayed on. The symbol for air bag (warning light on dash) stays illuminated. The red sensor for passenger air bag on/off stays on off. I have seen in forums many people have this problem after getting it replaced, changed, cleared etc. The airbag light should not be on and the safety of the airbags should not be determined by me moving the seat on a 2dr hatchback to allow additional riders to the back seat. My airbag is currently disabled due to this even though all of the wires are in tact and not damaged.
