The Germans pride themselves in making quality vehicles for a car brand that has been around for ever. Why is it that these engineers do not admit to their mistakes and take care of the customer. This way customers can rely on the brand and purchase future cars. The plastic water pumps was probably the most idiotic thing they ever installed on an engine that constantly runs very hot and and leaks oil as well as burn a lot of oil. Now, If this was to cut down costs, it was a terrible idea. VW needs to do the ethical thing and acknowledge their screw up and extend their warranty for all 2.0 turbo TSI engines from 2010 - 2017 on every model car and SUV. By doing this, it will allow those who know VW will continue to love the brand and spread the good news - that VW stands by their product. They should also look into the valve covers oils leaks issue and valve bodies on their automatic transmission as well. Thank you.
