While this is being covered by my powertrain warranty, this has been a real pain in the ass. I have had to take my car to the dealership, which is an hour and 15 minutes from me, at least 3 times. The check engine light came on and it was like my car had lost it's oomph. When I accelerate, it hesitates and takes its time getting up to speed. I looked up this issue online and it seems to be a common VW issue that I had no idea about. The dealership told me they replace turbo chargers 2-3 times a month. I am seriously considering going away from VW, because if this happens again when my car is no longer under warranty, I will not be happy about paying that bill. VW needs to address this problem. It is not an isolated incident.
