Tiguan SEL 2.0L T

The first day I drove my 2019 Tiguan SEL home, The driver side handle broke off so I had to make an appointment to go to the dealership to get it fixed two days later. Prior to the day before of bringing it in to fix the door, I was stopped and went to make a U-turn and the engine stalled, the screen went black, and the gas pedal would not respond. Two cars almost hit me, one had to spin out and screeched to a stop to avoid an accident. I have never been so scared in my life. A few hours later the same thing happened again, but luckily I was so scared from The first time that I made sure that before I turned, there were no cars in sight. When I went to Volkswagen and reported it the dealership told me that’s just the way the car drives. Three days later, I had to bring it back again and it was kept for two days. The dealership told me there was nothing wrong with the engine they checked it. I asked to get out of my lease, as I was petrified to get back in the car. I also asked if they could give me another car because I was fearing for my life in this one.

The manager at the dealership told me that the lemon law in Florida means the safety issue has to happen three times but I said I cannot drive this car off the lot. I called Volkswagen corporate filed a The manager at the dealership told me that the lemon law in Florida means the safety issue has to happen three times but I said I cannot drive this car off the lot. I called Volkswagen corporate and and filed a formal complaint and request about the dealership and requested a new vehicle. Was told that they take this seriously but it was at the dealerships discretion and the dealership told me that corporate refused to buy out my vehicle to give me a different one.

I do not know what the line is at Volkswagen is because money should never come before safety, and customers should always come first. Today I went and paid $3200 to break my lease and I lost my $2490 deposit as well because I cannot get back into this vehicle. I hope that nobody gets seriously hurt or killed driving a 2019 VW Tiguan and that Volkswagen gets held accountable for this serious and deadly problem.
