I went to store and opened my passenger door to put my groceries in. It was hot, and I pressed the ignition button to start the car and turn on the air. Of course it didn't work since my foot wasn't on the brake, but the radio, lights, and everything else turned on. I went to the drivers side and it was locked. I went to the drivers side to open the door, touched the door handle to unlock and it didn't unlock. I tried the key fob and it still didn't unlock. The light was on my key fob so I knew it wasn't dead. I walked away for 15 minutes hoping it would cut off my itself, but it didn't. I went home to grab the other keyfob just in case, but that didn't work either. I ended up having to pry the right side of the door handle off to get to the whole to manual open the door. Which caused my to scratch the paint up since the hole was flush with the car!!! I have not had any problems in the last 24 hours. I hope this doesn't happen again. This could have easily been a young mom putting her child in a car seat instead of groceries!
