I'm driving down from Missouri on HWY 44 when it started. Every 80 miles or so all of the oil in the car would be gone, and the check oil light would come on. I had to stop and fill the car up with oil every time until I got home, about 4 times. The car was covered in oil by the time I got home. I took it to a mechanic that only works on Volkswagens since he was 14 years old. He said the oil pan for the Volkswagen Tiguans are made of plastic, which he doesn't understand why, and that it was cracked. He also had to replace some other parts. It cost me $757.98. This is the second time this happened. That makes a total of $1,372.87 spent for a 2021 car I had bought just over a year and 1/2 ago.

This is the third time the oil of the oil comes out of the car. Only 1,532 miles later after fixing it the second time, I'm at a restaurant in Claremore, Oklahoma. When I finish eating, I come out to see all of the oil drained out in the parking lot. I got some oil and filled it up again. Before I can make it home just 1/2 hour from Claremore, the oil warning light comes on. I get it fixed again at Autohaus in Tulsa, a mechanic that only fixes Volkswagen. He does the same thing. This time it costs me $788.00. I have spent $2,161.49 in less than 2 years of ownership.
