Several complaints with dealer and multiple emails and complaint filed with VW of America with no resolution. Been told that a fix is forthcoming but my concern is there will be a serious accident as a result of this engine hesitation. The engine hesitation almost always occurs when cold or after having sat for a while. Several times the engine kicks in with a dangerous acceleration and that if not expected will cause an accident some day. Problem is so bad I am considering leaving the VW brand forever, and I’ve owned VW’s with this 2.0T engine in several vehicles.
