Clutch is very hard and it makes it extremely difficult while driving slowly. It feels very much uncomfortable. Number of visits to resolve the issue - 3. Job cards opened - 2.
Response from service adviser on each visit -
Out of five technicians that attended the issue, 3 agreed that it is hard compared to other brand new Ventos. But this is normal for all Vento's!
Service advisers comment that this is because the car is new. When you drive for around 10-15 thousand km's it will get smooth!
Resolution and feed back from service centre:
During first visit, clutch bleeding has been done, but no change in the hardness.
Second visit I don't know what service is done. The car was at service centre for 3 days and 2nd day when I called advisor told that they are repairing the clutch. But later the service manager and CRM told that nothing has been done only inspection is performed. Not sure what to believe.
The clutch hardness for the new vehicle (3500Km now) is a fact and abnormal but this is normal for Vento and no action can be taken!
Promise by service manager and CRM: Agreed that the clutch is hard on my car but it is normal for all Ventos. How ever doesn't have any answer why it is harder than other similar ventos. Also promised that during my first service of 7500 km. They can check this again. But here again there is no accurate measurement mechanism to check the hardness. Also promised to give me written confirmation through email on this for my tracking purpose. Unfortunately even that didn't happen yet.
What I feel : I am a person who believe in untouched factory settings especially for the engine and clutch settings. But the clutch hardness for my new Vento at 3500 KM is very very bad and I didn't felt this kind of hardness for my old Hyundai I20 even after running that for 80000 KM. This is really a big issue and the service centre is just Kicking the customer out with funny and stupid excuses and runs away from their responsibilities of resolving this issues. They are misusing the brand name and unknowingly ruins the good will of Volkswagon.
