This is ridiculous, say my children. My son, who is 4, is convinced that he will learn to drive in this car and he is correct. so what if it's 30 years old with 300,000 miles? it's not possible to kill it. theres no way. you could run it out of oil, seize the engine, fill it up with oil, wait a few hours and it will start again and run forever again. you can run it out of coolant and let it overheat about 40 times and it may start to leak coolant. the children are panicking thinking that they will run around in this thing forever.

the good thing is that i really love it!!!! you'll never find another vehicle built like these things. the newer volvos aren't nearly this well built...they realized that no one would ever buy more cars if they didn't ever break down so they have these flaws designed in so that eventually you'd have to buy a newer looking car. good marketing. apparently the marketing training didn't kick in for the 86 model year though.
