It seems there is a known glitch in the software that has the computer tell the transmission the wrong information and the transmission does not shift correctly. If you continue driving around with this without updating the software it ruins your transmission. Who knew ? Volvo wants $4000. for a new transmission plus labor on the repair that their software causes. Isn't that special? The same "glitch ' causes the engine to fluctuate uncontrollably at idle. The Software update should be free from dealer. Lame :(
