I was taking 4 of my grandchildren home to Florida after spending the summer with them. It's a 6 hour drive and about an hour out, my air conditioner went out. It was almost 100 degrees outside. The kids and I were miserable. About 30 minutes after it quit, I decided to try to see if it was a fluke and turned the air on again...worked great for about 15 minutes before it quit cooling again. That happened the entire trip there and home again...12 hours for me, in the hottest part of the year...The compressor doesn't just stop and start like that if it's bad, right? I only get to see my grandbabies once a year and It was supposed to be a great last couple of hours for us to spend together and it ended up being a miserable trip for all of us. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
