I bought this car 6 years ago for $28,000 and have only driven it 80,000 miles. At about 20,000 miles the windows started leaking and had to be replaced. Last week the engine stopped working and the mechanic said there were metal shavings in the oil tank, which would cost a significant amount of money to even diagnose, and over $10,000 if the engine had to be replaced. Volvo won't honor the 100,000 mile warranty on the engine because I can't produce oil change receipts from 6 years ago, when I was living over seas. I will never buy Volvo again. I have to sell it for parts.
