The FM radio in my car doesn't work. There's no sound despite being able to find radio stations and display their messages. AM radio works but reception is not as good as other cars. CD works great. I've heard from others that the radios in these cars stop working properly. I will try to diagnose the problem, and my presumption is that the problem is related to the head unit or to the AM/FM antenna amplifier located in the back of the car near the radio antenna. I know the grid on the back window acts as radio antenna, and there may be a 2nd antenna located in the back bumper.
