This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Volvo dealer.
Car will not start randomly, happened 12 times in the last 6 months. Volvo has replaced parts in the ignition 10-12 times. Each time the car hasn't started I've had to wait for a tow service and was given a loaner or rental. At least 50 days in the last 6 months I have without vehicle and it always has this problem as I am on my way to an account during work. I'm considering suing dealer for selling me a lemon.

I have a 2000 Volvo S 70 GLT Se 2.4 engine that will crank up and the engine will run for 1 second. I have replaced the Antenna Ring I have cleaned the Antenna Ring Connector, I have replaced the PCM and The TCM, I have had the Items reprogrammed. I have replaced the keys and had them reprogrammed. I have replaced the Crank Sensor and I have tested every fuse in the car and every wire and the vehicle still want run after cranking.
The car still looks and smells new inside, the reason I have a 139,000 miles on it is because I travel sixty- five miles to and from work every day except weekend, but to be honest with you the car has broken down on me 80 percent of ownership and that's terrible considering what I paid for the car.
My wife has a 2000 Toyota Camry we purchased at the time, basically and she has 600,000 miles on it and the only thing I ever had to do to that Toyota is replace the timing chain and I bought to sets of tires for it and this car has never broken down and the only reason I changed the timing chain on the car is because it was highly recommended by Toyota. I can give you this information but we all know I couldn't get a cup of coffee or a nickel for it.
Now I notice when I crank my Volvo it will run until the alarm light comes on and then it will shut off and this will happen in about 1 to 2 second. I need my car it is my only source of transportation can someone please help me with this electrical problem it would be humbly appreciated.
