This happened three times till the dealer found out that they had to get a special spring assembly from Volvo to fix the problem. While wife was sitting in passenger seat and the light would come on. We found out that the tension of the spring in the seat was too loose. This made it look like a child was sitting in the seat and it would disable the air bag as a precaution. Since they added the spring the problem has not reoccurred.
