First noticed the passenger side footwell flooded in December. Took it to a Volvo Specialist who ruled out a problem with the air conditioning. He then checked the door seals and windscreen under water pressure but found nothing. Been ok for three months but now find the carpets are wet again. There is no indication where the water is coming from.

2011 XC Volvo purchased new at the time. Leaked while still under warranty and deemed to be windshield, which was replaced under warranty. Now, out of warranty and problem is happening all over, worse than ever. Water is squashing around as though water bottles are rolling around in my car. Told that its from the sunroof corrosion and $850 to fix it and another $975 to take out all the mildew smelling carpet to clean and dry out. So not happy with Volvo or that this is not covered. Now that I am researching it, it seems to be an ongoing problem with Volvo, with no resolution in sight. IF this happens to your Volvo, please be sure they fully check windshield and sunroof because it becomes huge issue if not properly cared for.
