Bought a Kia Forte5 2017 for cash. Have had regular oil changes. Started with a sluggish feeling in the engine then a knocking started. I checked the oil and it was good and clean. Took the car to the dealer, Central Kia in Plano Texas, and they diagnosed it with a blown rod and the engine needed to be replaced. They have had my car for more than 10 weeks now and I still don't have a repaired car. I will have to pay 2200$ for the repairs.
Come to find out there is an enormous amount of engine problems with the Kia engine and similar issues are happening all over the place. My main gripe is that the Kia Dealer knew there was an issue and sold the car anyway without saying anything to me before buying it. I have a lawyer involved now.
