Bought a 2019 Volvo XC60 R Design (brand new) - I was floored by the offering of Volvo to use the internet and use smart phone to start, open doors and send Navigation details using Volvo on call app. I was advised in 2019 that it would soon go live in Australia too, and ever since, I have been waiting and now Volvo has launched this facility on their 2022 models using Google interface (the older ones as you may be aware are/were using Sensus).
Calling the Volvo Australia has not given me joy as they bluntly state that it does not work on the Sensus platform in Australia and does only on Google platforms (2022 models) . Feel that am seeing some disparity, since the world over the Sensus platforms work on VOC, so why not in Australia do? What is the work around as against buying a new car?
Not happy that I'm beginning to think I may have bought a lemon.
