XC70 2.4T

My wifes' V70XC has driven down the road cockeyed since we purchased it used with 23,000 on it. I had it aligned 4 times before the 80,000mi mark, and each time, I was told that it is set up to the factory specs. Every year I would wear out 2 Blizzak's and 2 street tires on the rear. It has since then worn out the Nivomat shocks in the back, the ball joints in the back and probably in need of the other stabilizing components along with sway bar bushings. The shocks alone are about $400 each and the ball joints are not a separate component, but part of the rear suspension arm, needing to replace the whole suspension arm. Total bill including parts and labor is somewhere in the neighborhood of $2000 +. There is no rear shock retrofit for the rear on this model year, so you are stuck with the high dollar replacement. I have over 100,000 mi on it and I need to bite the bullet soon and fix it. I had contacted Volvo North America early on when I realized the problem, but they brushed me off. I also have had numerous problems with the throttle module and need to get that replaced again. This car has been a complete lemon. I have never had a car, new or used, have this many things go wrong with it. Some other problems were/are: broken motor mounts, suspension stabilizer in front, power seat rails, tailgate trim pieces, throttle module, leaky turbo, uses oil(from day 1), using coolant (who knows where this goes either, the heater core isn't leaking), steering wheel leather falls apart in a sticky mess, rear view mirror on windshield broke at swivel mount, switches for power seat came apart, rear power windows stick down occaisionally and don't want to come up, key will not go into ignition until you move the steering wheel to lock position, floor shifter detent doesn't always pop out when gear is selected (button on shifter), rear door panel vinyl covering cracked, brake material wears out way too fast (approximately 15,000 easy miles at a time). These are just the ones I can think of off hand, and all occured way before 80,000 miles, most soon after we aquired it. I checked the past history on it and there has been no accidents or collision repair done. I just happened to be the next sucker that picked it up. My wife just had to have it, and that's right, I got it! NEVER AGAIN!
