My 2011 XC90 TAN leather seats started flaking off onto my clothing when I sat on the seats, almost instantly. My two friends with the same EXACT car had the SAME issue. Volvo replaced all of their seats - with no question, for free (they were under warranty, as I am). (Keep in mind, their seats were replaced with the same leather, so no doubt their seats will start flaking off again). However, Volvo chose to only DYE my driver's seat, ignoring the passenger seat. So I now have two different colored front seats. The problem is still there, but only worse now with no consistency. I will be trading in my volvo for simply this reason.
