This is a Technical Journal: If the customer experiences that the fuel gauge in the DIM is indicating zero but the distance to empty is still indicating some kilometers (miles), It is unlikely that the distance to empty indication is a result of a faulty fuel level sensor in the fuel tank. Instead perform a DIM Software upgrade according to VIDA. The calculation for the distance to empty value has been improved.
