The contact owns a 2023 Volvo XC90. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front driver-??s side door failed to remain closed securely. The contact stated that the front driver-??s side door remained ajar, and an abnormal sound could be heard inside the vehicle. The contact recorded the sound at 99 decibels. The contact stated that the failure had been occurring since purchasing the vehicle in 2023. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, no cause for the failure was found. The contact stated that an unknown part was repaired in the door. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
