My vehicle started developing a low speed pre-ignition misfire/spark knock at 8,000 miles, ever since then I’ve taken it to the dealership about the issue. Recently my car was in for the same problem. 34 days in the shop, and the technician couldn’t find out what’s wrong. Vehicle still has spark knock issues, no codes, no check engine light (yet). It doesn’t matter if I run 87 octane or 93 either.
