problem #2

Jun 182020

Pacifica

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

A number of minor events occurred before the vehicle shut down, including erratic shifting, dash light dimming and loss of power - all quite normal for a failing battery, but it would be nice if the computer picked up we have an under voltage on bus B or something, as rough shifting was happening days before the battery failure.

All in all, this has been a great vehicle.

Pacifica Touring L 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,767 miles

This could have been very bad. We were halfway through a right turn when everything (engine, lights, power steering and brakes) shut off. I tried to restart it but it would not start. I used a small portable jump starter I carry on the battery and was able to start it that way. After the start everything seemed to work right. This is the second time it has stopped like this (see previous complaint).
