Noticed the odor of hot oil after an oil change. Found oil pooling around the base of the filter adapter housing and intake manifold. Notified the dealer who performed the service with suspicion the filter adapter housing was not properly tightened during the service. I was informed the leak was from a cracked housing of the filter adapter/oil cooler combination due to a design defect. Dealer replaced with an updated unit issuing a 5-year warrantee.
