The contact owns a 2000 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that the hitch on the vehicle was partially fractured and he was concerned that the hitch could become completely detached any moment. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 10E034000 (equipment) but was advised that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was not available.

2000 Chrysler Town & Country lxi all wheel drive: 01/2003 failure at the battery, will not take a charge (battery replaced) 06/2005 battery leaking acid and damaged wire harness throttle position sensor replaced $260 throttle position sensor replaced **again** $72 new battery $71 sensor map $80 wiring engine $837 labor $504 a reoccurring problem with mopar batteries has cost me $2000 2 local Chrysler dealerships have been unable or unwilling to contact the local Chrysler representative and Chrysler themselves directed me back to local dealerships. No satisfaction with this company or mopar products.

Transmission failure of 2000 Town and country Chrysler van. Van brought to dealer for repair of slipping transmission 2002 replaced transmission pump hose gasket and filter and informed not covered by warranty. Automatic transmission continue to slip in freezing temperature until car warmed up. No transmission problems in warm weather. Problem communed until escalated winter 05 unable to drive car safely and check engine light engaged. Car brought to transmission specialist who reported transmission appears not to have been correctly assembled. Chrysler dealer notified states this is not possible.
