Vehicle making loud whistling noise, two dealers unable to locate sound. While transmission was out for another repair, discovered the exhaust crossover pipe is cracked. This is a $550 dealer item only part. Dealer states common problem, part is often replaced. I have to pay $550 plus labor to replace this part.

: the contact stated after a long trip the driver had a headache. Upon inspecting under the hood, the contact noticed the pipe that ran from the cylinder head to the exhaust was leaking. The dealership confirmed the pipe was leaking and needed to be replaced.
