There is something definitely wrong with my car. I have just now seen a recall but it occurred before the car was sold to me and it had electric issues with break fail, electrical accessories were still on as the dash notified while the car was off. It has had the seats move the steering would lock, it doesn-€™t provide many of the features for safety. The GPS is always wrong. I took it to the dealer several times and was told that the factory resets were fine. I don-€™t think that is the case. Under the hood there seemed to be additional after factory tampering with additional wires that had been added into the car.

This car is a danger to everyone. It randomly cuts off shutout warning. I took it to a mechanic shop and they advised there was a recall that causes the car to stall out and I needed to take it to the dealership to have the work done. I took it to the dealership who said they completed the work and we left. Less than a week later the car is still randomly cutting off. It cuts off without warning while driving or at complete stop. It almost caused me to have an accident because the car stall and locked up so I couldn't turn to avoid hitting anything. Thankfully the car was able to a low to a stop before hitting Q curb and going into a ditch. After the car stalls ibhve to out the car in park, turn the key off and crank the car back up and it starts to drive. The problem is ibhave no clue when its going to don't again and no one can tell me why the issue is happening. It has happened at least 7 times since getting the recall work completed less than a month ago. It happens both while driving and stationary. It happens while driving straight or turning. So far I have been lucky enough for it not to happen on the highway as I'm scared to drive in the highway because I would probably due due to an accident if this happens at a high rate of speed in a highway. The latest incident happened today 5/3/2021.

This is in reference to the recall on Dodge Durango fuel pump relay. Since this recall has still not been opened to be fixed, I am at the point where my vehicle is not starting because of it. If it does start I am worried of the possibility of it causing vehicle to stop while driving. I have four children and this is not acceptable. Like many others in this time of covid, I do not have the funds to fix this expensive recall. Is there any update on when this can be fixed? I have called the dealership and they said it is still not approved. This started about 3-4 weeks ago and now is getting worse. Car wouldn't start at all yesterday. I have scanned and checked everything with mechanic. He says it is recall item he believes.

My Durango has stalled numerous times. The recall for the fuel pump relay recall has been performed and replaced and two new relays have been installed. The last relay lasted two months and failed completely yesterday. My car has been towed to a dealership. There is an open recall on this issue with no timeline for a fix. I was lucky enough yesterday to get the car to a parking space instead of pulling into traffic on a busy road before it died.

I purchased my 2012 Dodge Durango, used, with approximately 75K miles. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've experienced numerous problems that began with the transmission. Additionally, the car goes into "low gear" even when you don't turn the knob. Over the past year, the car has been in the shop more times than I can count for the doors locking and unlocking on their own. I haven't been able to lock the doors when in public. My key fob hasn't worked even after replacing the battery inside. The car has set the alarm off even when unprompted. It will lock/unlock while driving.the car has stalled, while driving, at least 3 times since November 2019. For each occurrence, the vehicle was slowing/excelling with a traffic light or to turn into a parking lot. On one occasion, the car would not crank over and a red light was blinking on the dash. The lock issue began happening again and I could not get it started. It had been stationary. When I came back to the vehicle later, it worked fine with no red light. The mechanics noticed the temperamental problems but could not get the vehicle to consistently repeat the problem. I've also replaced the water pump and had issues with the air conditioning. At this moment, it doesn't want to work for the driver's spot only.

My wife and son was sitting in our 2012 Dodge Durango citadel in a parking lot waiting on my daughter when the headrest made a loud noise and activated with no warning. Lucky it did not hit them. It's could have been a very dangerous situation if it had hit my wife while driving. I have removed the headrest from the vehicle.

My wife was driving down the road probably about 40 or 45 mph when she heard a loud pop and the car began to handle weird and making all kinds of noise. She got it to a nearby parking lot where I met her to look at it. At first glance I could not find anything wrong except for the exhaust appeared to be broke so I had her drive it home since she was only a mile from the house. When I got it home upon further inspection I found that the rear subframe for the rearend had ripped out of the unibody frame. There cracks and rust in the frame. The vehicle has been at the Dodge dealer for the last month and half and Dodge is refusing to take fault for the manufacturing defect. Insurance has also refused to pay for it as there was no signs of an impact. I am looking at a 6000 dollar or more repair for a 12,000 dollar car that still has over 10,000 owed on it. I'm at a loss as to what do with the situation. The dealership has also said that there's nothing more they can do for me and that I just need to come get my car

The rear lift gate closes without warning rapidly and with great force. It is a serious safety concern. It could potentially cause serious injury or death. I was told by the dealer the struts are bad. I was also told I should not have this problem in the summer. I do not think it is ever acceptable that thus occurs. I have four children and this us unacceptable. I contacted Dodge and they will not take responsibility since I am not the original owner. I can provide video of this occurrence.

On October 2,2012 I purchased a Dodge Durango with less than 100 miles.. I have always kept up with scheduled maintenance. I'm still searching for all my paperwork.. I found paperwork where the check engine light was on at 81,552 -02/21/15--12/31/15--10/14/17--10/14/17---10/17/17--04/02/18.. I have spent over $3,000 dollars to repair the check engine light, now im told that this vehicle that I have paid approximately over $40,000 not including all the repairs will not be fixed and perhaps I need to trade it in for another vehicle.. I am extremely outraged with this company and feel I have been ripped off. This vehicle had and has a lot of recalls all which I have kept up on and still im not able to enjoy my vehicle..I dont feel safe driving this vehicle anymore.. engine shut down and even after all the money invested im still having problems..I have all the documents relating to this engine problem. I would appreciate your assistance in this matter.. thank you

2012 Durango has continued to periodically stall when coming to a stop. Vehicle is able to successfully restart after putting in park. Problem has been happening for almost a year and has been brought to the dealership continuously to find and fix problem. Proper service and maintenance have been preformed for the duration of the ownership of this vehicle. Dealership states that no codes for the stalling are presenting and are not able to replicate the problem, so they are unable to proceed with further investigation. There are concerns for safety of family and safety of driving this vehicle with not knowing when another stall will occur. So far, the vehicle has been on a city street decelerating into a stop at low speeds when the stalling occurs. Most recently, vehicle was slowing down to yield for a traffic circle when the stalling occurred making it difficult to fully brake and manage the steering wheel. Some of the services completed to hopefully rectify the stalling were; fuel pump relay replaced, evaporate system integrity monitor replaced, both fuel pumps replaced, transmission service performed. Stalling is still occurring periodically with no resolution at this time. First time the vehicle stalled was in the beginning of 2017 (not sure of specific date). It stalled a few times before we brought it in to be checked out.
