Grand Caravan

  • Automatic transmission
  • 69,283 miles

Have had several instances of the doors locking or unlocking randomly without touching key fob. More unsettling, on several occasions I have parked the vehicle with windows closed, locked it as I was walking away and returned to find that the windows had somehow opened. I don't even have the ability to control windows with my keys, so it is a COMPLETE mystery how the windows can open themselves. Especially since the keys were not in the ignition. I thought I was going crazy until I had witnesses.

There must be a ghost in the machine. Because it it intermittent, I am reluctant to take it in and spend a bunch of money on getting it investigated. It must be an electrical issue. But if anyone knows how to fix it, would love to hear solution.

Grand Caravan Crew 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Doors unlock by themselves, windows go down by themselves, dash lights go on and off. Very unsafe. Just put a sign on the van that says, "hey come steal my stuff".
