problem #1

Grand Caravan CV 3.6L

my radio has been cutting off from time to time. Sometimes for days. Then comes back on. Then drops dead again. I thought maybe it was the radio head unit itself but when I installed the new one it stilled didn't work. When I hook the ignition on wire from the radio to the vehicles 12v constant it comes on then. so I know the radio is good. I thought maybe it was the ignition on wire (wht/gry) from the vehicle that was faulty. I got a manual and found out that this was a computer data line. At this point I'm stuck as to where to go with this problem and how to fix it. Any help would be welcomed. thanks
