power steering hoses replaced due to leaking - both hoses

I had the high pressure hose replaced first. Within the year the low pressure hose leaked and now has to be replaced. I have less than 36,000 kilometers on the vehicle. Warranty has since run out and cost is out of pocket. I find it hard to believe that both hoses leaked and need to be replaced with such a short amount of driving miles. I would like to know if many other 2011 Journey owners have encountered the same issues - or any other significant issues with this vehicle. I am not impressed.
