I CALLED FORD MOTOR CO. AND ASKED THEM TO HELP REPAIR THIS ISSUE AND THEY SAID NO. I PURCHASED THIS ESCAPE ON JULY 13, 2013 AND IT HAD 27,000 MILES ON IT AND IN JAN. 27,2014 THE BUMPER TO BUMPER EXPIRED.

ABOUT 8 MONTHS AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED I STARTED TO HEAR THIS NOISE IN THE AIR CONDITION AREA. THEN TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHICH IS WESTWAY FORD IN IRVING, TEXAS. THEN TO BE INFORMED THAT THE AC COMPRESSOR HAS TO BE REPLACED AND THE COST IS $850.00 OUT OF MY POCKET AND NO OTHER OFFER HAS BEEN FROM WESTWAY FORD AT THIS POINT TO HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. I EXPRESSED ALL OF MY UNHAPPINESS OF COURSE BUT I WAS STILL NICE IN DOING SO AND WESTWAY DID NOT CHARGE FOR CHECKING THE TRUCK FOR ME AND I THANK THEM FOR THAT PART.

I TOLD WESTWAY FORD THAT I WAS TO CALL FORD MOTOR CO. BECAUSE I FEEL THIS IS AN OUTRAGE, JUST AN OUTRAGE THAT I HAVE ONLY PUT 6000 MILES ON THIS TRUCK AND NOW THAT I AM ASKED TO PAY 850.00 FOR A MAJOR PART THAT I FEEL THE MANUFACTURER HAS A DEFECT HERE AND THAT FORD MOTOR CO. WILL NOT EXCEPT ANY BLAME FOR IT. I AM VERY, VERY UNHAPPY THE WAY THIS IS GOING. FORD MOTOR CO. CLAIMS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. WELL, IF THIS IS GOOD CUSTOMER I WOULD NOT LIKE TO SEE WHAT BAD CUSTOMER IS. I SPOKE TO STEPHANIE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. AT FORD MOTOR CO. AND SHE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THAT FORD MOTOR CO. COULD DO FOR ME. THEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND HIS NAME WAS MATT. STEPHANIE INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS NO NEED IN TALKING TO MATT BECAUSE SHE HAS ALL READY TOLD ME THEY COULD/WILL NOT HELP WITH THIS ISSUE AND NOT IN SO MANY WORDS THAT I WAS WASTING MY TIME SPEAKING TO MATT.

AND THAT WAS TRUE, MATT WAS NOT ANY HELP AND I ASKED HIM IF THEY WOULD EVEN SPLIT THE COST WITH ME AND FOR ANY HELP THEY WOULD GIVE ME AND HIS ANSWER WAS NO, AND I ASKED MATT WAS THERE ANOTHER PERSON OVER HIM THAT I COULD SPEAK TO AND HE TOLD ME NO. SO HERE I AM TAKING THIS AVENUE AND I DID GO ON-LINE AND I SENT FORD MOTOR AN EMAIL AND I AM GOING TO WRITE THE COMPANY A LETTER ABOUT THIS MATTER AND IF FORD MOTOR CO. THINKS THAT I AM GOING TO GIVE UP AND STOP COMPLAINING WELL, THEY NEED TO THINK AGAIN BECAUSE I GAVE MY HARD EARNED MONEY OF OVER 25,000 DOLLOARS TO THEM AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEM, NO PROBLEM AT ALL TAKING THE CHECK AND I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD TO FORD MOTOR CO. I WANT THE SAME TREATMENT AS WHEN I FIRST WALKED IN TO MAKE A PURCHASE.

I COULD HAVE GONETO ANY DEALERSHIP THAT I WANTED TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE, BUT I WENT TO FORD MOTOR CO. AND I EXPECT BETTER TREATMENT THAN WHAT I AM GETTING!! COMMON GOODWILL GOES A LONG WAY, BUT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE SPREADS LIKE WILD FIRE!!!!!!!!! I WANT THIS MATTER TAKEN CARE OF AND THE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT YOU CLAIMED YOU GIVE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. PROVE IT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CHECKED THE WEBSITE AND THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS AC COMPRESSOR ISSUE ON 2011 FORD ESCAPE. I WANT THIS PART REPLACED AND THIS MATTER TAKEN CARE OF BY FORD MOTOR. I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THIS ISSUE BECAUSE I AM CORRECT IN WHAT I AM ASKING FORD MOTOR CO. TO DO. FORD MOTOR CO. MADE THIS ITEM AND IF FORD MOTOR HAD MADE IT TO LAST A LITTLE LONGER WE WOULD NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE. I WANT THIS MATTER RESOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
