Explorer Limited V8

Ford uses plastic instead of metals on components. Fine, but ensure the foil covering does not come off. I now will be replacing the front grill and wheels after 60000 miles.This is on the top model, so I would say the parts used are inferior. Dealership will do nothing. Why did I buy an explorer ? I have had problems with all I have owned.
