2006 Explorer with approx. 70,000 miles has dealer tell me it needs new ball joints AND lower control arms. Cost = $1,087.

Never drove off-road, never hit curbs, no accidents - all normal driving miles. Car drives fine, noises or indication of problem. VERY disappointed in quality of car.

Also disappointed in quality of Ford Service. Have always brought to Ford for oil changes and inspections, and no one mentioned this before.
