I've had two nails in two different tires; IN EACH CASE, took vehicle to a professional TIRE SHOP. When tire was removed, IN EACH CASE, the TPMS TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (fastened around wheel inside the tire) was broken. Not covered under warranty. First time had to pay for it myself, as tire shop said they didn't break it. Asked Ford about having system deactivated - no can do. So EVERY TIME you replace a TIRE, you're gonna end up in the hole for $158 PER TIRE? If I'd known this, I never would have bought the car. MAJOR PAIN. And Ford is apparently NOT getting info to tire shops - guess they want you to take it back to Ford Dealer each time. What happens if a dealer isn't available? Can't a guy change a tire hmself anymore?
