Airbag lights for driver and passenger sides randomly come on while driving at various speeds. Driver and passenger side seat belts are randomly locking driving at various speeds. Engine code for faulty seat belt tensioner sensor for passenger side.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the entire passenger side seat belt module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The seat retractor belt permits any movement for the passenger and does not release from the latch unless seat belt is taken off. The failure recurred on several occasions. Whenever entering the rear passenger or driver's side door with front seat occupants seat belt in use, the shoulder belt webbing became extremely tight in the shoulder and chest area causing discomfort.
