The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle alarm unexpectedly sounded and the door ajar warning indicator illuminated. The contact mentioned that the doors have to be unlocked and then locked again for the alarm to go off. The vehicle was taken to murray's Ford Lincoln (3007 blinker pkwy, dubois, pa 15801, (800) 371-6601) and repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 17V652000 (latches/locks/linkages). The repair failed to remedy the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 25,000.

The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not covered under a warranty and referred the contact to NHTSA. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 78,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 17V652000 (latches/locks/linkages) and 18V568000 (seat belts, structure). The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. Maxwell Ford (5000 South ih 35 frontage road, austin, Texas 78745, (512) 443-5000) was made aware of the recalls in December of 2017 and stated that parts were unavailable. The contact stated that the front passenger side door remained open on several occasions after the door was closed with force. The contact also stated that the front passenger door failed to latch. The contact repeatedly closed the door in an attempt to correct the failure. In addition, the front passenger door opened while driving various speeds. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 44,500. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. While the vehicle was parked, the rear driver's side door lock disengaged and failed to re-engage. Additionally, all the locks on the vehicle failed to disengage even when the key was inserted. The failure recurred multiple times on all the door locks. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the door latch assemblies failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 6,000.
