The tail gate on occasion will slam down instead of lowering itself smoothly. I don't know what triggers it, or how many times the tail gate opens. But this is really a safety issue that could hurt someone if there not expecting it. I took it in to Ford and they couldn't duplicate the issue so it was not fixed. Before i open that door i make sure no kids and people are around where they can get hit.
