The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated he was able to restart the vehicle but continued to experience the failure while driving to the residence. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the throttle body to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but experienced the same failure in April 2020. The contact took the vehicle to back the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the throttle body to be replaced a second time. The vehicle was repaired but experienced the same failure in July 2023. The contact took the vehicle to back the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the throttle body to be replaced a third time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 98,000.
