problem #3

Fifth occurrence of rodent damage chewing on fuel line insulators. I purchased a new insulator and replaced it myself. Going back to the first occurrence of this happening on 01/04/19, the insulator was $7.50, and now the insulator is $18.55. It leads me to think Ford realizes this is a problem and is milking the consumer for the cost of replacement parts. Now today, 1/05/2020, I have significant damage from rodents chewing on two wiring harness, fuel line, and insulator. I have not taken vehicle in to get repairs made. Think that now makes six occurrence of rodent damage with no end in sight, and Ford not covering this under warranty.

Rodents chewed up both fuel line insulators due to the fact that Ford uses a soy base on all their wiring harnesses. This is the second time I've had to fix problems caused by rodents chewing.
